The constitutional amendment process in Nigeria requires the approval of the National Assembly. The National Assembly, which consists of the Senate and the House of Representatives, has the power to alter the provisions of the constitution. The President, the Supreme Court, and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) do not have the power to approve constitutional amendments.
