Corruption and Political Development is Another great reason for military intervention in politics is political crisis in a country; like in the case of military interventions during the Cold War because the communistic regimes failed against capitalism and democracy. If politicians in a civilian government are perceived to be incompetent in managing the affairs of the country, the military may forcefully take over the government.
