Division of labour refers to the practice of breaking down a complex task or job into smaller, specialized tasks or processes. Each individual or group focuses on performing a specific task or process, which leads to increased efficiency and productivity. This concept was popularized by the economist Adam Smith in his book "The Wealth of Nations" and i widely used in various industries and organizations.
