Explanation

Helena is speaking to Demetrius in Act 2, Scene 1 of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She is lamenting how she is the one chasing him, which is an unnatural reversal of traditional roles in love. She compares their situation to Apollo and Daphne, where Apollo chased Daphne, but here, Helena is chasing Demetrius.
