The heights of two similar glasses are in the ratio 1:1.2. Calculate the capacity of the larger glass.

1.2 times the smaller

1.44 times the smaller

1.728 times the smaller

2.4 times the smaller

Since the capacity is volume which scales with the cube of the linear dimensions, 1.2³= 1.728.
