Young's double slit experiment is carried out by using green, red and blue light, one colour at a time. The fringe widths recorded are $$\beta$$G, $$\beta$$R and $$\beta$$B, respectively. Then,
$$\beta$$G > $$\beta$$B > $$\beta$$R
$$\beta$$B > $$\beta$$G > $$\beta$$R
$$\beta$$R > $$\beta$$B > $$\beta$$G
$$\beta$$R > $$\beta$$G > $$\beta$$B

Explanation

Fringe width, $$\beta = {{\lambda D} \over d}$$

$$\therefore$$ $$\beta \propto \lambda $$

As, $${\lambda _R} > {\lambda _G} > {\lambda _B}$$ $$\therefore$$ $${\beta _R} > {\beta _G} > {\beta _B}$$
