JEE Advance - Mathematics (2000 - No. 20)
Consider an infinite geometric series with first term a and common ratio $$r$$. If its sum is 4 and the second term is 3/4, then
$$a = {4 \over 7},r = {3 \over 7}\,\,\,\,$$
$$a = 2,\,r = {3 \over 8}$$
$$a = {3 \over 2},r = {1 \over 2}$$
$$a = 3,\,r = {1 \over 4}$$
