JEE MAIN - Physics (2024 - 5th April Morning Shift - No. 10)
Two conducting circular loops A and B are placed in the same plane with their centres coinciding as shown in figure. The mutual inductance between them is:
$$\frac{\mu_o}{2 \pi} \cdot \frac{b^2}{a}$$
$$\frac{\mu_{\mathrm{o}} \pi \mathrm{a}^2}{2 \mathrm{~b}}$$
$$\frac{\mu_0 \pi b^2}{2 a}$$
$$\frac{\mu_0}{2 \pi} \cdot \frac{a^2}{b}$$
Explanation
$$\begin{aligned}
& \frac{\phi_{A / B}}{I_B}=M \\
& \Rightarrow \quad M=\frac{\mu_0 I_B \times \pi a^2}{2 b \times I_B} \\
& =\frac{\mu_0 \pi a^2}{2 b}
\end{aligned}$$
