for strain of $$5 \times {10^{ - 4}}$$ stress is given by
$$5 \times {10^{ - 4}} = {{{{10}^{ - 10}}} \over {20}} \times $$ stress
stress = 108 N/m2
Energy density $$ = {1 \over 2}$$ $$\times$$ strain $$\times$$ stress
$$ = {1 \over 2} \times 5 \times {10^{ - 4}} \times {10^8}$$
$$ = 25000$$ J/m3
$$ = 25$$ kJ/m3
