when it is farthest from the planet is 6 times less than that when it is closest to the planet. The

Given, vmax = 6vmin
From equation (i),
$${{{r_{\min }}} \over {{r_{\max }}}}$$ = $${{{v_{\min }}} \over {{v_{\max }}}} = {1 \over 6}$$
