दिए गए है $$\overrightarrow{a} = \widehat{i} + 2\widehat{j} + 4\widehat{k},$$ $$\overrightarrow{b} = \widehat{i} + \lambda\widehat{j} + 4\widehat{k}$$ और $$\overrightarrow{c} = 2\widehat{i} + 4\widehat{j} + (\lambda^2 - 1)\widehat{k}$$ समकोणीय वेक्टर्स हैं। तब गैर-शून्य वेक्टर $$\overrightarrow{a} \times \overrightarrow{c}$$ है :
