-OH is +M group which will activate the corresponding benzene ring and -C(=O)- is -M group which will deactivate the right benzene ring completely. So Br+ electrophyle will attack electron rich position, which is ortho or para position of -OH group but you can see para position is blocked by -C(=O)- group so Br+ will attack any of the ortho position of -OH group.
