Evaluate \(\frac{5}{8} - \frac{3}{4} ÷ \frac{5}{12} \times \frac{1}{4}\)
- \(\frac{3}{40}\)
\(\frac{3}{40}\)
\(\frac{7}{40}\)
-\(\frac{263}{40}\)

Explanation

\(\frac{5}{8} - \frac{3}{4} ÷ \frac{5}{12} x \frac{1}{4}\)

⇒ \(\frac{5}{8} - (\frac{3}{4} ÷ \frac{5}{12}) \times \frac{1}{4}\)

⇒ \(\frac{5}{8} - (\frac{3}{4} \times \frac{12}{5}) \times \frac{1}{4}\)

⇒ \(\frac{5}{8} - (\frac{9}{5} \times \frac{1}{4})\)

⇒ \(\frac{5}{8} - \frac{9}{20}\)

∴ \(\frac{7}{40}\)
