Find the roots of the equation 10x2 - 13x - 3 = 0
x = \(\frac{3}{5}\) or -\(\frac{1}{2}\)
x = \(\frac{3}{10}\) or -1
x = \(\frac{3}{10}\) or 1
x = \(\frac{1}{5}\) or \(\frac{-3}{2}\)
x = -\(\frac{1}{5}\) or \(\frac{3}{2}\)

Explanation

10x2 - 13x - 3 = 0 = 10x2 - 15x + 2x - 3 = 0

5x(2x - 3) + 2x - 3 = 0

= (5x + 1)(2x - 3) = 0

5x + 1 = 0 or 2x - 3 = 0

x = -\(\frac{1}{5}\) or \(\frac{3}{2}\)
