The lines above inform the reader that the poet
is determined to suffer
has his poetic imagination kindled
will cure his sour mood
will not drink much

Explanation

The poet persona is inspired to travel more, even though he had suffered greatly from past travels he feels fulfilled travelling and wants to get the most of it.
