During the caliphate of Abu Bakr, Zayd ibn Thabit was tasked with compiling the Quran into a single book. He was one of the scribes of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and was known for his expertise in the Quran. Zayd ibn Thabit was responsible for collecting the written fragments of the Quran and compiling them into a single manuscript. This manuscript became the standard text of the Quran and has been preserved and transmitted to this day.
