Alam yaj'al khaydahum fi tadil is translated as

And He sent against them flight of birds

Did He not make their treacherous plans go astray

Have you not seen how your Lord dealt with the companions of elephants

Pray to the Lord and make sacrifices

A lam yaj'al kaydahum fi tadlil is translated as "Did we not make their treacherous plans go astray"
