Jahiliyyah (Arabic: ‏جَاهِلِيَّة‎‎ jāhilīyah, "ignorance") is an Islamic concept referring to the period of time and state of affairs in Arabia before the advent of Islam in 610 CE.It is often translated as the "Age of Ignorance".
