The All-Nigerian Constitutional Conference of 1950, held in Ibadan, was a significant event in Nigeria’s constitutional development. Delegates from different regions of Nigeria met to discuss the future political structure of the country. One of the key resolutions of the conference was the adoption of a quasi-federal system, which meant that Nigeria would move towards a federal system of government but with some centralized features.
