The National Congress of British West Africa (NCBWA) was a congress formed in Accra, Ghana and consisted of Nigerian and Ghanaian delegates who were sent to London to represent Nigeria's interest in the issue of granting elective principle. Their resolution led to the granting of elective representation for Africans as stipulated in the Clifford constitution of 1922.
