"Women doctors" is the correct plural form for multiple female doctors. Although, it sounds ungrammatical with the use of a double plural, its use developed out of convention rather than grammar accuracy. 

However, it is important to note that "female doctors" or just "doctors" is a better alternative in contemporary times.
