According to Paul's letter to the Philippians, Christ demonstrated His humility by
washing the feet of his disciples
dying on the cross
coming to earth as a servant
praying for his enemies
Explanation
In Philippians 2:6-8 (RSV), Paul explains how Christ demonstrated His humility:
"Who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross.
This passage emphasises that Christ, though being God, humbled Himself by becoming human and even submitting to the humiliating death on the cross.
