According to the account in 1 Kings 5:13-14, during the construction of Solomon's temple, the forced labourers from the Israelites in Lebanon were allowed to spend one month at home for every two months of forced labour. This arrangement is mentioned in the context of Solomon's dealings with Hiram, the king of Tyre, for the supply of cedar and cypress timber for the construction of the temple.
