Loamy Soil is the mixture of clay, sand and silt soil which consists of additional organic matter and is very fertile compared to other types of soil. It is a mixture of sand, silt, and clay, loamy soil is characterized by a significant amount of organic matter, which is decomposed plant and animal material. Loamy soil is fertile and well-suited for cultivation because it provides plants with the nutrients and water they need to grow.

Humus on the other hand is a well-broken down soil organic matter, humus has a high cation exchange capacity (CEC). Soils with low CEC are more likely to acidify quickly and develop deficiencies in potassium, magnesium, and other cations.
