Explanation

- The Hereditary characters of an organism are determined by genes.

- However, Chromosomes are dark staining structures in a cell's nucleus  on which the organism's genes (DNA molecules) are arranged.

- I.e Chromosomes are the carriers of genes.

- And these genes are located on the Loci of the Chromosome.
