The principle Unity of Command in an office implies that
no worker in an organization should report to more than one-line supervisior
every worker in an organization should be directly responsible to the general manager
everyone in the organization should be able to work in all departments

Under the principles of war, unity of command means that all the forces fall under one responsible commander. It reqiures a single commander with the requisite authority to direct all forces in pursuit of a united purpose. Simply put ,it means one mission, one boss.
