WAEC - Biology (2011 - No. 7)

The following processes are involved in water movement in the endodermis except
osmosis
vascuolar pathway
diffusion
active transport

Explication

Active transport requires energy(ATP) to move molecules against their concentration gradient.Hence it is not directly involved in water movement in the endodermis. Despite the fact that it is important in moving ions and other solutes across endodermal cells, water movement itself is primarily driven by osmosis and diffusion which are passive processes.

In other words,  osmosis, diffusion and vascuolar pathway are involved in water movement in the endodermis.
