A point is at coordinates (4, -2). A reflection over the line y = -1 is applied. What are the new coordinates?

(4, 0)

(4, -2)

(4, 2)

(4, -4)

Reflecting over y = -1. From the line (y = -1), the point is down 1 unit. It will then reflect up 1 unit above the line: (4, -1 - 1) = (4, 0)
