"Lam yalid wa lam yulad"(Q 112:3) is preceded by "Allahu Samad"(Q 112:2). This is a verse from the Quran, Surah Al-Ikhlas. The verse "Lam yalid wa lam yulad" translates to "He begets not, nor is He begotten" and the preceding verse "Allahu Samad" translates to "Allah, the Eternal Refuge".
