Elitist is often used as a critique label, to describe a political party definitive of social class and rankings of top profiled politicians without much agenda for social justice. Elitist parties are often seen as focusing more on presenting themselves as representatives of a particular elite or ideology rather than actively implementing their policies or fulfilling their promises.
