In the alimentary system of a bird, the function of teeth is carried out by the

gizzard

Birds do not have teeth, so they swallow their food whole and their gizzard( a muscular part of their stomach) grinds up the food so they can digest it. therefore, in the alimentary canal of a bird, the gizzard carries out the teeth' function.
