The cooperative societies work with democratic principle of 'one man one vote'. All the members get only one voting right irrespective of capital  contributed. the principle of “one man one vote." members get only one voting right irrespective of capital contributed by them. Taking an example if a person is having 100 shares, does not mean that he is having a chance to caste 100 votes, but he will get a chance to caste one vote
